Early Storytelling - Egyptian Hieroglyphs

Egyptian Hieroglyphs were one of the first ways of story telling and communicating, many thousands of years ago.

These were made of a variety of components, which together, functioned exactly like an alphabet.

The hieroglyphs are very visual and are like a series of miniature drawings.

The materials that these were usually represented on were papyrus or some kind of stone.

I think that they are very visually interesting.
